RX Target at Willard diamonds where the Newark Div crossed the main line to go into the yards. The Northbound track used to go to Sandusky also and the Southbound went to Newark The track and arrangements there now is what ASRY uses to get from Mansfield to Willard ,Diamonds are gone The passenger train is sitting waiting to go East This was in 1958. |

This was the Willard inspection pit,fuel rack and the wall like fixture you see was a spray wash rack where all engines were washed after servicing. The engines you see parked to the righht are all in shot tracks around the turntable and the location today is a big oil and water EPA recovery system. You will also see the #2 Eastbound main and the freight track. This is what it used to look like in 1958 |
